Pose with Style

So am not expert at posing or clicking pictures. Infact even after so many videos &pictures,  I still get conscious when I have to get a picture clicked, hence I have tons of elevator selfies ;-).

One thing figured out in this whole process of clicking and getting clicked is the way you stand.

Below is my picture, one picture am standing straight facing the camera and in other one am slightly turned to one side, keep your back straight – no hunching, rest your weight on the leg behind, tilting head a bit and a big broad smile. Voila see the difference. So this sounds too much work but trust me its not 🙂

Its not just about the pictures, but improves your whole body language. Once we see our picture looks good, we automatically feel confident about way we have styled ourselves.

This is my series post from a mom to mom-to-be.

Pregnancy brings about a lot of change emotionally and physically. Dont let those mood wings and hormones dictate what to wear.

  1. My first tip has to be dont go to stores looking for materinity pants. There are so many variations in pants today lile a pallazo, dhoti pant, jeggings and they all have side zippers or elastic at the waist which is comfortable for the first two trimesters.
  2. Invest in pants that are very comfortable around the waist and are a comfort fit on the legs.
  3. If you like me dont like the thought of materinity pants, than buy trousers that are size bigger. This way you can use them post pregnancy as well 😉
  4. Invest in pants that relaxed fit for the for the first and second trimester , and loose fit for the thrid trimester. Treggings or Jeggings are an exception to this.
  5. Check the fabrics, use weather friendly fabrics. For example for a hot and humid climate use more cottons and bit of blends.

  1. Cape dresses add that pizzaaz to the outfit, at the same time they are very relaxed fit and can be used for all trimester.
  2. Shirt dresses work very well in a hot climate, plus they are loose fit and comfortable for regular use. If the climate get cold, you can use the shirt dress with jeggings and boots.
  3. Wrap dresses are generally made from strecth fabrics and take the shape of the body, thus highlighting th lovely baby bump.
  4.  A line dresses knee length or full length also work very well.
  5. Fabrics play an important role, so keep in mind the weather and climate of where you are and
